rasensamen-kaufen.de is a total10 GmbH specialist shop for lawn seed, wildflower meadow mixes, livestock and horse-pasture seed, and lawn fertiliser. Online since 2016. Its audiences are hobby gardeners, landlords, farmers and equestrian businesses, plus companies, local authorities and sports facilities for larger areas.

The content differentiator sits on every mix's product page: the Sortendetails and Zusammensetzung tabs display the results of the official lawn trials from the German Federal Plant Variety Office (Bundessortenamt, BSA) for every grass variety in the mix: turf colour, leaf fineness, ground cover, freedom from weeds, turf density, suitability for functional lawns and more, each on a 1-to-9 rating scale with a trial date. The shop also calculates weighted averages for the whole mix. As far as we know, the only retailer that processes BSA data at this depth per product.

Technically, the shop runs on Shopware 5 with its own theme and 17 custom-built plugins. The homepage was deliberately built without standard shopping worlds, to minimise DOM complexity and render-blocking. A one-page checkout shortens the ordering path noticeably compared with the standard Shopware flow.

Behind the scenes, a supplier automation runs for the strategic partners (automatic pick lists and ordering workflows), alongside a blog system with a REST API for the "Rasenwissen" guide section. The data model is focused rather than broad: custom attributes for supplier model numbers, supplier prices and the Hamburg-warehouse flag keep procurement and shipping logic consistent.
